Von Schelling Industries are well known for their innovative ship designs, and the Capitalist class corporate cruiser is no exception. Designed as mobile corporate headquarters the Capitalist class is a formidable vessel. Its six heavy thrusters, channelling plasma from a unique triple fusion ring engine, give excellent power to mass ratios and providing triple redundancy in the event of a ring failure. Weapons usually range from PBC turrets and missile launchers on the basic models to anti-capital ship beam weapons and gatling cannons on the 'deluxe' models. In addition the Capitalist cruiser can launch small drones and utility vehicles to support its corporate role. Von Schelling have retained the sole rights to manufacture the Capitalist class cruiser, and much of their income is derived from leasing the vessels to other corporations and selling them cruiser maintenance contracts.
