I assumed that this was a PC bent, so I listed the PC games on my computer that get played regularly. For console games, I would include all of the Legend of Zelda games (particularly Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess), the Grand Theft Auto series (particularly San Andreas), and the True Crime series (particularly New York City -- it's not as good as GTA, but for some reason people assume that means it's not good at all, which is unfair... GTA is a pretty high bar to compete with). I also like Fable, Gun, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
