I new at eoc and i am now up to act 2
When will i get somthing diffrent then the tug? what ships can you get and how?

You don't have too long to go. You'll get a new ship in Act II. Very soon after that, you'll get another.

GAAAAH! I'm so sick of this Tug!

I've got this cool alien artifact, so I'm thinking to myself, "Yes! Finally I'm going to have a REAL SHIP!" Surely an alien artifact is valuable enough for one lousy corvette? I've personally shot down dozens yet can't seem to get my hands on one.

So I watch the movie of Cal taking this lovely blue glowing piece of extremely valuable alien hardware to Haven on the tailgate of his flying pickup truck and they say, "Name your price!" and I'm drooling, "Ship! Ship! Ship!"

Then Cal says, "I'm holding out for a Capsule Drive!" and I'm like, "WHAT!?"

I've never wanted to smack that moron upside the head more strongly than at that moment ... A SHIP for crying out loud! CAL, YOU IDIOT, YOU WANT A SHIP!

Ok, Cal, let me explain this in very simple terms so even your moronic brain could understand: a crappy old crate with a capsule drive is STILL a crappy old crate! A flying tub in this solar system retains its tublike properties in any OTHER solar system.

Unless we're going to use the Capsule Drive to fly to a system where all they know how to build are Mars Rovers and deep space probes with phonograph records in them, in which case we could strut around like Lord Nelson on the Victory, I'M STILL FLYING A LUNCHBOX.

GAAH!

Nobody in Hoffer's Wake is capable of manufacturing the kind of hardware you will pick up out in the cluster. I won't spoil it, but you are in for some seriously sweet ships here.

come on now i gotta defend the tug, ya i hated it for a very long time time, while i was still playin through the game, but all in all its not a bad ship, its a cool design and you can make that thing nasty with the right loadout, but all in all im for the advpatcom, that ship rocks
