Don't panic. Check out the FLUX.INI file and find the next entries (obviously, the values can differ from mine):

I'm not upgrading to vista. If you wan't the vista look, without the vista drawbacks, do this:
vista-transformation-pack.en.sof ... m/download

Someone else said the same thing with an XP box and the X1300 ATi card. It's possible the driver version you are using is kaput.
